Artist Statement: Looking to accomplish a seamless blend of American and Japanese tattooing into one, I look for any opportunity to implement one style to the other without losing its individual authenticity. I enjoy using the illustrative nature of using small detail that is done in a way that will stand on its own through without collapsing in on itself as well as the traditional roots of making bold statements of color and heavy black to achieve an image that remains timeless, visible, and held together over time.
